Timber Frame Home at Eyemouth, UK
Our client wished to move out of his small mansion into something a little smaller, the house was built into his oval walled garden, and being a very keen gardener he retained virtually all the planting that had taken so many years to establish.
The design is based on a French Garden House style with a 2 storey central core with 2 single storey wings.
The accommodation on the ground floor consists of a sitting room, dining room, kitchen, utility room, an inner and an outer hallway. The left-hand wing also has a w.c., wine store, fuel store and general storage. The right hand wing has a cloakroom, study that connects to a very large conservatory and garage.
The accommodation to first floor is 1 large double bedroom with dressing room and en-suite bathroom, 2 single bedrooms and a separate bathroom.
Total area 3827 sq. ft.
